The Wigan International Film Festival offers unique internship opportunities for passionate young people who love cinema. As an intern, you will have the chance to directly participate in the planning and operation of the festival, gaining valuable industry experience and working closely with filmmakers, creators, and industry professionals.
Internship Positions:
Event Coordination Intern
Assist with organizing and executing on-site festival events, ensuring smooth operations.
Marketing & Communications Intern
Help plan and execute promotional activities for the festival, manage social media and website content.
Film Program Management Intern
Assist in curating and planning festival films, coordinating screenings and related activities.
Audience Relations Intern
Engage with festival attendees, including ticketing, feedback collection, and customer service.
Application Requirements:
Passion for the film industry, with relevant academic or professional experience preferred.
Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in English.
Experience with social media or project management is a plus.
